Last night, a rabid online army of misinformed Ron Paul supporters literally hijacked L.L. Bean's (a clothing company I love and patronize) Facebook Page in response to L.L. Bean heir, Linda Bean publicly endorsing Ron Paul and usng the locations of her seafood shack across the street from LLB's flagship store to do so. Despite the fact that a corporate endorsement is exactly the type of thing the Paul Zombies should be fighting againstt on ALL fronts it seemed perfectly all right last night for the army of Paul to accept or rather CREATE a corporate endorsement that didn't even exist! They woohooed and posted their support for Bean all though the night till the wee hours of the morning making the page a Ron Paul marketing tool in essensce and of course shooting down any "troll" who may question that there was actually no endorsement or even the ethics of cyber-jacking a corporations social networking page to promote their candidate. The poor company's communication team stated several times they didn't endorse ANYONE on the web last night! Yet the Paulites didn't care and marched on insisting good ol' All American as Norman Rockwell and apple pie L.L. Bean was playing politics. So I say GOOD FOR YOU L.L. Bean for erasing every last idiotic post, slogan and "don't tread on me flag this morning from facebook and retaking your virtual place of business. The Rev. is and remains a loyal customer. Happy 100th Anniversary.
